Bioclere BK
BIOCLERE BK is the newest model in the Bioclere series. These plants combine in one unit all the equipment required for mechanical, biological and chemical treatment of the wastewater of 8 to 120 persons. At first the wastewater flows through a two-chamber primary clarifier, which is located in the lower part of the plant and into which settle most of the suspended solids. The mechanically treated water is pumped into a trickling filter in which biotreatment takes place. Further the water passes through a secondary clarifier, in which humus sludge as well as chemically precipitated phosphorus accumulate. The precipitation chemical is injected from a dosage unit, which is located above the secondary clarifier, whereas the chemical may be injected to several points of the plant. The purified water is discharged through a lamella clarifier. The mixture of humus and chemical sludge is pumped from the secondary clarifier to the primary clarifier and together with the raw sludge periodically hauled away by a tank truck. Depending upon the required treatment efficiency one may choose a one- or two-stage Bioclere BK, usually a one-stage plant is sufficient. Thanks to the lamella clarifier the Bioclere BK plants tolerate higher hydraulic (per hour) loads compared to the previous model Bioclere B. The treatment plants Bioclere BK/i> work fully automatically and their technical equipment is simple and easy to maintain.
BIOCLERE BK 115: 1 inlet, 2 service pipe, 3 biofilter, 4 flocculant dosing unit, 5 outlet, 6 sand cushion, 7 foundation panel, 8 and 8a primary clarifier, 9 screen, 10 circulation chamber, 11 circulation pump, 12 sludge pump, 13 lamella clarifier
As concerns organic matter (BOD), suspended solids and phosphorus, the efficiency of properly run treatment plants BIOCLERE BK is 90–95%, which is in compliance with legal requirements. Simultaneously with biological treatment nitrification and denitrification take place, as a result of which the nitrogen content of wastewater is reduced 50–70%.
