Bioclere BLK
For larger wastewater amounts, it is not possible to assemble all plant elements into one unit and in that case a BIOCLERE BLK should be chosen. In such plants the primary clarifier, biofilters, and secondary clarifier, in which also chemical phosphorus precipitation takes place, are separate units. These plants are manufactured to treat the wastewater of 140 to 400 persons.

As concerns organic matter (BOD), suspended solids and phosphorus, the efficiency of properly run treatment plant BLK is 90–95%, which is in compliance with legal requirements. Simultaneously with biological treatment nitrification and denitrification take place, as a result of which the nitrogen content of wastewater is reduced 50–70%.
